This Calendula & Lavender infused tallow balm is one that every family needs in their arsenal. It’s a balm we reach for when we need staying power & deeper nourishment for dry or chapped skin, rashes, bug bites, minor kitchen burns, sunburn, diaper cream, belly balm for expectant mamas, first aid ointment, night cream for eyes and face, cuts, scrapes, cuticles… the uses are endless!
 
Made from local, organic grass-fed, grass-finished tallow that we dry render in house. Infused with organic calendula flowers & lavender buds. We add the slightest touch of local beeswax from Midwest honeybees. Every ingredient holds a key to nourishing, healing & protecting even the most delicate of skin for the whole family.
 
Our Calendula Tallow Balm is available unscented option or scented. The scented option contains therapeutic grade, skin-safe essential oils of lavender, sweet orange & cedarwood for a subtle, calming aroma.

Tallow from grass fed, grass finished cattle raised on an organic regenerative small family farm in the Midwest. We use only the most nutrient dense fat aka suet or leaf fat to formulate skincare that nourishes skin beyond the ability of skincare created in a lab.
Our tallow is dry rendered by hand without introducing it to water or salt which is often used to purify many tallow products on the market. We choose the dry rendering method to retain the most nutrients possible and to ensure the longest shelf life for your tallow skincare.
Tallow is naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E & K.
Vitamin K helps fight free radicals while vitamin A serves as a natural retinol.
Quality tallow is non comedogenic meaning it will not clog pores. Because tallow is an animal product, our bodies easily recognize what to do with it allowing our skin to absorb the utmost nourishment available.
Tallow also contains CLA, a conjugated linoleic acid. Linoleic acid is an omega-6 fatty acid & antioxidant. The CLA in tallow works against inflammation helping to reduce acne, minimize scarring & rebuild the skin barrier all while moisturizing our skin.
